This one loftrace (FCI) is starting the 4<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> edition. Every year trying to improve.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pigeons are collected from 44 countries! It takes a lot of effort and organization to collect, transport and train this team of pigeons. Also keeping them healthy and in good shape needs a professional approach. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The final race is on 14<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> January 2026 (500 km).<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We talked with Dr. Juve Teerapol, the owner of this race.<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last edition, 5002 birds were welcomed at the loft. After very frequent training and races, <\/span><\/span><\/span>2127 pigeon went to the final.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That success at the Thailand Masters is about more than just speed\u2014it\u2019s a true test of skill and adaptability. Pigeons competing in this prestigious event face challenging conditions, from unpredictable winds and though terrain to extreme temperatures ranging from 28\u00b0C to 37\u00b0C. These factors test both endurance and navigation abilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Adapting to changing wind directions, recovering quickly between races, and maintaining peak performance are essential for success in this demanding competition. With proper training, conditioning, and care, these pigeons rise to the occasion and deliver exceptional results.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Training and feeding<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pigeons that train hard must be well fed. They are provided with high quality feeding, imported by Vanrobayes and Paloma. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How you divide the pigeons to the loft?<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each compartment can keep up to 220 pigeons and last season we kept only 175 pigeons in each compartment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The spacious compartments offer room for a comfortable number of pigeons. Prioritizing ventilation, a slightly reduced capacity was implemented.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This thoughtful approach ensures the well-being of the pigeons. Such careful management contributes to a healthy and thriving environment. Optimal conditions are the key for achieving the best possible outcome.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last year and also for coming trainings, the direction of release has been adjusted<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To ensure the best possible conditions for our pigeons, the Thailand Masters team has made a strategic adjustment to the release point\u2014shifting approximately 20 degrees further east.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why this change?<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thailand is currently experiencing strong easterly winds from the Northeast. If we maintain the original route, pigeons may be pushed too far west, overflying the loft and struggling to return against a strong headwind. This could lead to unnecessary losses and added stress.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

By adjusting the route slightly eastward, we give the birds a more balanced challenge\u2014testing their skill and resilience without risking disorientation from extreme wind influence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Age of Pigeons<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ideal age: 60\u201390 days old at the time of shipping.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Vaccinations (Very Important)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ensure birds are vaccinated 2\u20133 weeks before shipping:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Paramyxovirus (PMV): Mandatory<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rota Virus (if available): Strongly recommended.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each bird must have a valid 2025 official country ring.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
