Highlights from the classic middle-distance Bourges National on May 28, 2022


The opening flight of the longer middle-haul in Belgium is the classic Bourges National on May 28, 2022.
With a total of 58,111 pigeons entered (33,615 pigeons and 24,496 yearlings), things got going
this flight also all credit!

Start was on Saturday, May 28, 2020 at 7:30 a.m. with blue skies, heavy clouds, a north wind and good visibility. 
With the north wind there was a headwind from the release to home in Belgium. Ideal wind for all participants !
Victory among both the birds and the yearlings went to Olivier Poussart in Chimay (366.480 km) with a speed of 1,266.49 
and 1,264.74 min./meter respectively.
 
 
Jules & Yves Engels from Putte (Antwerp province) clocked their yearling hen B21-6073644 at 13:38:09 (475.167 km) 
with a speed of 1,256.56 min./meter. Thus 4th National in the yearlings vs. 24,496 pigeons!
 
 
 
 
Danny Van Dyck on Pulle (Antwerp province) clocked his yearling hen B21-6166839 at 03/14/01 (493.722 km)
 with a speed of 1,256.24 min./meter. Thus 6th National in the yearlings vs. 24,496 pigeons!
 
 
Dirk & Frans Maris from Itegem (Antwerp province) recorded their yearling hen B21-6036142 at 13:53:10 (480.670 km)
 with a speed of 1,254.47 min:/metre. Thus 7th National in the yearlings vs. 24,496 pigeons!
