Rene Geukens wins 1st Provincial Melun (318 km) vs. 5,937pigeons!

After a long lockdown, the travel season in Belgium could finally begin.

On June 20, the Melun race (318 km) was on the program in the province of Limburg. 5,937 pigeons and 6,948 yearlings
 (total 13,491 pigeons) were basketed for this race. Start was at 7.10 am in good weather.

At 11.10.34 clock Rene Geukens stated in Paal his female B18-5085707 with a speed of 1,323.726 min./meter.
 This should be the 1st Provincial Melun in Limburg. Plus the 4th fastest of a total of 13,491 pigeons!

The two-year-old hen comes from a common breed with Markus Bauer. The mother is an orig. Juul Van Looveren full sister of the “Bert” 1st national ACE pigeon KBDB Small Halve fund and 2nd ACE pigeon KBDB Olympiad Brussels 2017. The father is still a direct son of the golden couple of Rene Geukens inbred cannibal x daughter Sister Figo by Antoon & Hilde Reynaerts.
